Dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable, that describes the members of our crude oil and condensate purchasing team. Our purchasing team contracts with producers to purchase their crude oil and condensate at the wellhead or lease and provides for the transportation of the product to delivery points for sale to CP Energy customers at pipelines, refineries and terminals, using primarily CP-owned trucks.
Our purchasing team operates through a network of established delivery points located throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Kansas, including company-owned delivery stations and blending capability at Cushing, Oklahoma. This network of established delivery points, combined with a large fleet of company-owned trucks, delivery and tank capacity at Cushing, numerous producer, pipeline and end-user relationships and significant takeaway capacity, enables CP Energy to provide flexibility, market responsive pricing and superior purchasing and marketing services at a competitive price to our producer customers in these regions.
As part of our purchasing and marketing business, CP Energy also provides the following services to our customers:
- Market-responsive pricing and wellhead-to-market services, including transportation and blending services
- Accurate gauging and field measurement services with electronic ticketing on all trucks and a company call center to manage loads
- Division order services, including monthly oil purchase statements, revenue interests reconciliation and distribution, 1099 statements, federal and state tax reporting and interest owner communication
